Treat every person with dignity. Anyone may ask for help, and anyone may give it — there is no hierarchy between giver and recipient.

Be truthful. Describe needs accurately and never exaggerate. Helpers should only claim what they can actually provide.

Respect privacy. Never ask for or share addresses, documents, or personal details beyond what's needed to coordinate.

Keep it local and practical. NeedWell is for donated items that already exist in the community — not money, fundraising, services, sales or social networking.

People of every faith and no faith are welcome.

NeedWell does not guarantee the availability of assistance, the accuracy of third-party programs, volunteer professional qualifications unless specifically verified, or emergency response.
